SEF president Nancy Towry was given the opportunity to speak to teachers and school staff about the mission and programs of the Smithville Education Foundation during Smithville ISD's annual Back to School Breakfast held Aug. 21 at the Elementary cafetorium.
She informed them about our programs at all the campuses, Innovative Teaching Grants and how to apply, and welcomed them to campus for a great year.
Nancy also set up a booth to explain more to interested parties before and after the program and handed out red pens to teachers. Because who doesn't love a good red pen... :)
