Yoga added to Enrichment Days at Brown Primary

Thanks to Vinyasa Jewel Yoga, Beginner Yoga has been added to the Enrichment Days program at Brown Primary with the first lessons held Nov. 9. The children really enjoyed the activity and were very attentive to the teacher.

"The children were a blessing, it was our pleasure," said a representative from Yinyasa.

The board of the Smithville Education Foundation, which pays for the lessons, made the decision during the summer to embrace a new activity during the Enrichment Days program.

Yoga lessons will rotate with Beginning Theater and Movement by john daniels, jr. throughout the year.
